Not a portrait lens per se, but when you're out for a nature walk with the family it does help pick up some candids and I like how this lens renders for this purpose. Such a versatile lens.
Amazing capture. I love foxes. They are so beautiful. Japanese folktales depict them as mystical and often fools people. I can see where such notions came from. I mean look at her/his eyes!

This lady in her prime got herself in a fight the night before (puncture/bite mark in the back leg). Can't decide if the BW brings anything to the photo or not.
Nice shot and beautiful rendering from that lens. When I owned it I shot a few handheld at 1/20th @400mm with no loss of sharpness, I was very pleased.
