Masterclass work, Phil.
Thanks Buddy!
I've been having a lot of fun shooting these guys. Looks like another rain-shoot this weekend. Lol!
I've used many lenses for these shoots, but I keep coming back to the z70-200 + 1.4xTC early in the AM and switching to the z100-400 mid~late morning - for the outdoor events.

I now live close to where I can kayak with sea otters, seals, and other estuarine species. These otters were photographed during an overcast sunrise. Care was taken to maintain a respectful distance where I allowed the otters to decide how close to make their approach.
All images were with my "kayak" rig... Z8, 100-400, and 1.4x converter.

That doesn't sound like Stillwater . . .
Yeah... I just moved "home" to CA after living nearly 34 years in Minnesota. With the passing of my wife last year, it was time to move closer to family. I've blown up my existence... sold my Stillwater home and put a "tiny home" on my sister's land. I'll have to learn how to live again without the threat of an arctic fronts or polar vortex
