Eastern Coyote I called from inside my blind. The loud D850 mirror deepened its wariness. As soon as a shot, it kept its head down while looking up at the blind. Then it scooted back down the hill. A minute or so later it appeared at a long distance
If I do this again I’ll be thankful for my silent Z8.

I shot this yesterday at Palatine park in Fairmont WV. It is painted on a wall behind a parking lot. There were cars parked in front of it so I had to shoot it from the side and clone out a car fender and a bunch of garbage. I also slid the perspective to enlarge the coal miner on the end. I think it is a powerful image.
Shot with a D850, 90's era 35-70 f/2.8 nikkor @ f/8, 1/125, auto iso
Shot this today when there were no cars parked in front of it.
