I really enjoy the CV 35/2 Ultron. Have been using it since launch, often at f8 at 1 or 3 meters zone focused on film and digital. Fantastic for this. And on the a7x line, I shoot it WO, warts and all
I’d like an small update 75/2.4 heliar like this lens.
I got mine...really impressed for only one night of shooting. I liked the rendering close and far, at mid distance it's not offensive, which is what I hoped for given the size, and IQ. I enjoy the newer CV lenses colors more, more than CV's from a couple years ago.

Looking at footsteps through the snow, across the ice and snow covered Jordan creek to the far bank and down stream to the Pedestrian Bridge.
Tripod mounted A7rII Kolari Vision UT sensor modified camera and Voigtlander 28mm f2 Ultron II VM; silent shutter.
ISO 100, f8, 1/125 second.
Exposure Corrected -0.53 Stops.

What took you so long?
Congrats and thanks for sharing your initial samples.
Thanks! So many lenses, so few time and pennies
But also, I was also waiting on my modded a7r2 to use it optimally, and I like to let prices drop a bit so I can buy/sell and break even(ish). Otherwise this hobby becomes quite unmanageably spendy for my budget. And, I do have a recently acquired GM 35, but I am not bonding with it thus far. I generally try not to double up on newly acquired lenses so I can learn each.

Hey all - would I be right in assuming this won't work well on a standard sony A1?
The lens will not perform well on stock Sony bodies as you get to the edges and corners until you stop the lens down to 5.6 or f8. I will be posting another image taken with the lens and my A7rII Kolari Vision Ultra Thin Sensor modified camera tomorrow. It was taken earlier this afternoon.
If you are shooting wide open and focus your subject at mid/long distance, the main issue would be an exaggerated field curvature induced by the thicker Sony sensor stack. This causes rendering weirdness where the OOF background corners may appear sharper than the OOF area around the center of the image.
Stopping the lens down allows for a broader DOF which will mask this effect but only very small apertures like F8 or F11 will completely mitigate it.
