Guess it really does not matter if you get sun stars at those low apertures. After F8 any image will be sharp throughout the image per say anyway. Only downfall could be degrading the image at F22.
But this may not be a everyday thing to do anyway .
The 35/1.4 GM stops down to f/16 but I see your point.
On a tripod it’s not too much work to take an extra picture at f/16 though, just for the defined sunstars to combine in post. That’s one of the advantages of the CV 35/2 APO. However, the Voigt only captures defined sunstars at f/11, f/13 and f/14. Picky lens!
