I have a love/hate relationship with this lens. I love the sharpness and build quality. But, I hate the size/weight. At times I also feel the rendering is almost too perfect.
THEN, someone posts images like these! And, while using the more compact a7cII—a combo I probably should really try to see if the size/weight would be more tolerable to me—and then I think to myself: “damn, I should be using that lens more!”

I think your size/weight comment on the 35GM Is 100% relatable…especially when mounted to my a7C II. I’m torn because I want to add some super-small lenses like the 40G or Viltrox 40mm which would be more fun to shoot, but I worry I’ll be so biased about the excellence of the 35GM they might not get used.
