I occasionally enjoy heading into a very touristy and heavily traveled area for the challenge of trying to shoot something interesting amongst the crowds. Here are a couple from a recent trip to Sausalito, California.
Been using this lens for almost a year at this point. I'd still feel more comfortable with an f2, especially one more matching the impossibly priced 35 apo-m (which is why my 40 G still sees some semi-regular use)—but considering both the size vs the competition and that it is not only usable but truly excellent at 1.4 I can't imagine a more perfect documentary lens. Here are a few of my favorites over the last while.

Lovely family pictures I agree, from the point of dof and general look f/2 is usually more than enough. But being fairly compact and perfectly usable from f/1.4, 35 GM is best of both worlds. After using 35 GM alongside with 24 GM and 50/1.4 GM, I think it is best overall package of the new Sony primes.
