Taken during my holiday to Cyprus in September where my friend and his wife renewed their wedding vows and celebrated 10 years of marriage. Took this one as they walked to the chapel with their kids.
Used a Tiffen Black Pro Mist Filter 1/2 to the lens to add to the look.
New saxophone from Ishimori. As a player for almost 50 years now this is undoubtedly the prettiest horn I’ve ever had. Unique in that the body is a silver alloy, not brass. A slightly darker tone than my other tenors which is what I was after.
Japanese mouthpiece too - a firm called Gottsu. They craft beautiful gear that plays really well. Very flexible tone production.
