The famous "Gene Autry" Bus in Palouse Eastern Washington, and a detail shot of the same bus. The excellent 35mm GM was my walk about town lens. perfect for this use.
I'd like to say I've been using this lens a lot but.... I've been shooting quite a bit of night skies after picking up a 24GM (replaced a 20G) & a few months ago I bought the Tamron 70-180/2.8 which I really like too!!
This is a stacked untracked image of the Galaxy core. Took at iso 6400 f1.4 and 4 seconds. Stacked 128 images altogether to get this image. Only short coming of this lens is the come performance and purple fringing wide open. Stopping down to f2.8 helps alleviate the issue but the I'll need a tracker to make up for lost stops. Anyways I've babled on too long. Enjoy!

Nice. I keep meaning to use mine but seem to gravitate to 24mm all the time!
Oh, and if you like the night skies, buy a tracker You won't regret it. I tend to shoot around 60-90 seconds, f/1.7-2.2 & ISO 100-640. Only need to stack a few images & if I'm doing a panorama I don't stack any at all. On an old A7 too.

I already have a tracker and have learned the ups and downs of it it's a very amazing thing. And I like the 24 gm more for astro it performs better in terms of both coma and fringing. Also your work is amazing my friend! I've only stitched once but loved it.

Thanks. I love stitching night skies. Love the challenge!!
Freedom Tower as shot from the Jersey City waterfront. One of my favorite subjects to test new equipment, this time a just-acquired A7.4 and 35GM. My first-ever attempt at an exposure-stack (to simulate very long exposure) + panorama went horribly awry. The resulting image was full of artifacts and glitches, like very noticeable seams between panels in the water. Need to sharpen my post processing skills and work flow.
For the second image I skipped the panorama and just stacked exposures. Not as wide a vista but a much cleaner image.
