I’ll start/revive a different thread on this so as not to have too much talk in the image thread, but I’m definitely very curious to hear more from those that have both.
I rent Sony and Nikon lenses from a store in town, which has very reasonable rates ($30 from Friday evening to Monday evening for many GM lenses, for example). So far, I have owned or tried 200-600 G, 35 GM, 135 GM, 24-70 GM and several Nikon lenses. Among the Sony lenses I tried so far, the 200-600 and 35 struck me as "I want one". I have not tried many though.

That's a very tricky - if not the trickiest - background to render well; the 35 has done a great job here. The bokeh balls are prominent but never distracting and there isn't any really harsh outlining. Subject is crazy sharp. Great shot.
I'm seeing so many beautiful pictures here that I want this lens and then I remember I barely use the 35 I have. I am really appreciating what this lens can do in the right hands
