Hello.
Can anyone here confirm my problem with the APO (SONY E-mount version) aand CaptureOne?
My problem is, that Capture One automatically selects the wrong lens profile from the Loxia 35mm when importing images from the Voigtländer 35mm APO Lanthar. This results in CA's being added where there are actually none in the RAW file. Even if i turn off the lens correction (setting „Generic“), the CA's are not present as much.
This is an example with the standard import settings of C1 (the Loxia 35mm is selected by default).: https://flic.kr/p/2kZumjL

Hi Marco,
I have already mentioned the issue to C1 and according to their reply: "I've filed a report for our R&D team to audit the issue. I will place your ticket on-hold and will get back to you when we have a response from our engineers or if we need any more information for this report."
regards

I got the same reply when I posted my A1 RAW issue, I guess it's their standard formula .

It took a few weeks before I had some time to gather more pictures with new to me Voigtlander Apo Lanthar 35/2 in FE mount and make my own opinion about it. I started testing it right after the Sony FE 50 / 1.2 GM. So I will be boring in the summary. This is another excellent prime lens in the Sony FE mount .Very similar to its older brother - Voigtlander Apo Lanthar 50/2 FE in terms of color reproduction, sharpness, oof blurr, quality of workmanship, physical parameters and pleasure of use.Siutable for architecture, landscapes, street and close ups.Great little lens.

Not to hijack the thread, but does anyone know why we can't buy Voigtlander products from the US to Canada anymore? I was told "Voigtlander does not allow us to ship/sell outside of the US".
If your country has a Voigtlander wholesaler, that's why. Same for many other nation states, but many agree it's best to support the local dealers in any case. Ask these guys for a price, maybe:

Probably because there's an actual, bonafide Canadian Voigtlander distributor and it would infringe on their sales territory.
I think it has been this way for a few years, at least through B&H. Maybe it hasn't been consistently enforced because I don't remember seeing it maybe half a year ago, but then noticed the restriction was back again. I noticed Amazon US will ship CV lenses to Canada, but by the time you add shipping and customs clearance/taxes, it loses a fair amount of appeal. You'd pay the taxes anyway, but it's unclear to me how frictionless the cross-border returns process is should there be a problem.
FWIW, Robert White in the UK would ship, but with Brexit and all, their prices are no longer as appealing as previously. I also purchased CV from the Leica Shop in Austria some years ago, but regrettably they've stopped carrying Voigtlander.
I just talked to Stephen Gandy (camera quest) and he told me that they have not shipped to Canada for years.
Canada has their own Voigtlander Distributor.

Marco, try this:
1. Start with an image from your lens. Set the profile in the Lens Correction panel to Manufacturer Profile. (You might also set a standard chromatic aberration correction for your lens there by clicking "analyze" for that image, and fine tune it for each important image with another click if desired.)
2. Save your settings in Adjustments/Style/Save User Style.
3. Import your Voigtlander 35mm images with that style selected in the Adjustments section of the import page.
