Those were my weekend plans too, but some numbnuts shipped it ground and it wont get here until Monday. I even saw this morning it said expedited 2-day shipping so I don?t know what happened. Worse things happen.

Looks like the USA GM 35 shipping party has begun! My region is 2-Day express, so hoping Friday is D-Day. Now to figure out how to get this thing in here incognito oh and I've run out of Sony camera/lens box hiding places my wife doesn't know about

Same. I ordered late February from Amazon (for the 5% cashback) and just got an update that expected delivery is between May 9th to June 14th. So I just added a B&H order and am at the back of the line. Silver lining is that the delay probably gives me enough time to see how the new Sigma 35 1.4 will handle flare, which is one of the main reasons I ordered the GM.

Anyone using their Sony 35mm f1.4 GM on the Sony A7C? How does it handle? Is it front heavy?
In a similar boat with a long Amazon wait and a new B&H order. Am wondering if I should just get the Sony 40mm for a 35mm range lens and pick up a used 50mm f1.4 for a fast normal prime to share between a Sony A7C and Sony A9.
