Has anyone noticed that 35gm makes different autofocus noise in still vs video? Mine makes a much louder noise in still mode, but almost silent in video. Can someone confirm this is normal? thanks a lot.

mine arrived today. sharpness is really outstanding and centering seems to be ok, as good as the 35 1.4 ZA I had. now it only comes down to handling on the a7c to decide if it is here to stay or if i will keep the 35i...

Mine is silent in stills, even when holding up to my ear.

I just realized that the noise is from the aperture blade (open to help acquire AF) while half press the shutter button, not from the focusing mechanism, but is it normal for the aperture blade to make such noise? my other Sony lens don't do this. thanks for your reply.
