How is that complaining? One of the rumours concerning this lens was that it was supposed to be close to the size of 24GM, which to me from that photo seems not to be the case.
It does not seem that much bigger. The FE 24/1.4 GM with hood is not that small. It's only a tad shorter than the Sigma 14-24/2.8 DG DN.

I think it's 5mm to 1cm longer. the mid barrel is certainly thicker, the 24gm has a slight bevel inwards where the 35gm runs straight through, if that makes sense.

Yeah, 100% on board Fred. Quite a few people are getting thrown by the other 24-70's in the photo.....but there aren't enough rings....which I was joking they'd have to get rid of one (which they obviously wouldn't.)

It only has one regular ring (can't be a Sony zoom) and an aperture ring which GM zooms don't have.
We started this thread with the following Nokishita's tweet:
"The next lens Sony will announce will be the FE 35mm F1.4 GM".
...that together with clues like size, MFD and filter thread specs from the intentionally blurred lens in the video, may be enough evidence to conclude this is the new 35/1.4 GM prime already being tested by dpreview. https://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/1673762/14#15460365
No clue why they displayed 24-70mm zooms from other brands next to it though...

Lenstip.com is offline for me too. So is Optyczne.pl (parent site of Lenstip that is Polish only, it contains the same lens reviews though they appear often a day earlier than on Lensip, but it also contains camera reviews and more).
I have last accessed Optyczne.pl on 7th Jan according to my browser history - it was working well at that time.
Maybe they did maintenance over weekend, but usually for maintenance site operators put up a static page with notice, but this time there is no response on HTTP and HTTPS ports at all.
I had the same problem (I'm located in Australia) but found I could access the site without problems setting my VPN to other places. So I'm guessing there are issues with their server provider in some countries, including mine.

Thank you.
I tried it with my cell phone data and that works, but with my fast home internet connection it does not work.

Well, I'm located in Poland and I had to switch to vpn via Germany to access optyczne.pl ...

I guess we won't have to wait much longer for the announcement, but here is a view where I edited out the hood and placed the 24GM next to it. Could not find a more closely matching angle for the 24GM though.
Still I'd wager that this new lens and the 24GM will be closely related concerning their size and shape.

perfect, just a tad larger than the 24 gm as it seems, if the weight is +/- 500g I likely will not keep the 35/2 from sigma. I do not like to have doubled focal lengths in my prime collection.
would then have two three prime sets and one single prime set for ultimate portability

Size wouldnt bother me,its certainly smaller than the Sigma tank. Love the feel of GMs anyway plus it’ll autofocus perfectly.
My question is,wouldn’t it be smarter to create images with what you have then spend 2K on a new lens? From a business pov at least, especially these days.
I could certainly use it at weddings but it wouldn’t increase my business using it.
There’s much less business so let’s spend 2k on a lens....hmmmm.... thats an easy one.

In your case it appears to be yes. But everyone's situation and reasons for purchasing a lens like this are different. So to answer your question "It depends"
