I have gone through a few photos from my crappy light photo session with some chummed gulls and the 1DX/600III/various teleconverters. I've been quite pleased with the camera's ability to track some of these birds coming straight at me, even with the 2X TC III attached. This camera is by no means perfect, but it's a significant improvement over my 1DX2. All OVF on these shots. Without showing 45 pictures in a row in focus, individual shots don't do much, but here are some any way.
1200mm, f/11, 1/2000, ISO 2500. I did some adjustments in Lightroom an used Topaz Noise Reduction
