I just came back from two weeks in Italy . . . Florence, Cinque Terre, Tuscan and a half day in Rome. I would say that 95 percent of my images were with the 24-105/4. I switched to the 12-24/4 when in churches and brought one prime (Voigtlander 21/1.4) for night shooting.

Wonderful images, Bob! I am going back to Italy next year, too and will be hitting two locations from your list while there; Cinque Terre and Florence. The sky at Manarola you captured was gorgeous.... I hope we can get a similar sky like that.

Thank you Joshua! I got lucky with the Manarola sunset as the next two nights were nothing in comparison. As you probably know, both Cinque Terre and Florence are getting more and more crowded. This was mid-October and I could not believe how many people were still vacationing in both locations. I’m sure it was the weather which was perfecto!

Two shots from the Methow Valley/North Cascades. The 24-105 replaces so many of my lenses unless I'm concentrating on one fixed focal length.
Very nice Benjamin, it is my most used travel lens too.
