It was my Mom's favorite NP. Last time I was there was in 2007 and I had to cut my trip to Oregon short as my Uncle passed away after I arrived for my first night there.

I can understand why, it's a place of incredible beauty. Sorry to hear about your circumstances on your last trip, I do hope you can make it back out there again.
The lake isn't the only pretty view it has to offer, either.
It does. The Palouse is a great place to practice our art. I have a special affection for the freshly plowed fields with late afternoon sun filtered through clouds and I suppose a little dust.
Thanks Chris! The RAW file was basically pitch black because I was exposing for highlights, didn't think I'd manage to save anything and was very pleasantly surprised when I got home
Oaksdale, WA. an almost abandoned town. It was interesting to me that the front of the abandoned station was painted pretty recently, however, the sides and back were not.
From a hike to the summit of Vesper Pk. in Washington's central Cascades. I was lucky to find a team climbing on the north face. I could lean out from the summit to shoot them. ILCE-7RM2
