Nice thread, and an incredibly strong collection of gorgeous images, everyone.
Some from Antarctica, the last from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia this summer. Antarctica was a perfect use case for the zoom; the iceberg images were taken from a zodiac puttering around Neko Bay. We were always at different distances from the floating icebergs, and iceberg sizes varied considerably. You don't want to be making frequent lens changes, not only because you're in a zodiac, but also the wind is blowing spray unpredictably.

You got it, Rich! Incredible place!
Hi Scott,
It was my Mom's favorite NP. Last time I was there was in 2007 and I had to cut my trip to Oregon short as my Uncle passed away after I arrived for my first night there.
