Took the 24-105G to Michigan State University for shots of the gardens and grounds.
My lens works very well: it is centered and decent on distortion and CA, needing little correction. The only downside is hard vignetting that affects all far corners equally -- just a bit -- but enough that cropping is required if it isn't eliminated when correcting perspective distortion. That's my only gripe about the lens, which is pretty great otherwise.

No offense to anyone, but if you aren't a seasoned post processor, the 24-105 produces middling images. With a little massaging in post, they really shine. I think that's where most of the complaints stem from.
