I anticipated this scenario would happen at the falcon site before the steak sauce arrived, And this morning, it did happen.The steak sauce was able to keep the eye in focus although it was behind the left wing. But frankly, the 3rd image after this, the eye was no long in perfect focus anymore. Who knows what happened. Thankfully, the sequence was only okay anyway. What I liked about this that it was barely cropped...

Here are photos of an Allen's Hummingbird from Santa Cruz, CA. All shot on A1 + 600/4 GM + 2X on tripod in manual mode with Auto ISO. Post processing in Lightroom & Topaz Denoise AI. All shot from tripod with bird eye detection enabled.
