I posted the first image in a different thread but not the remaining images of the sequence... FYI, the pre-capture feature was not readily available in Sony land... yet.
Shame on me, I was neglecting this lens lately. And this morning today, was the first time I used it with the A1 II and of course, I had to take advantage of the pre-capture mode 😜. At f/4 I could use a somewhat slowish ISO setting while maintaining a fast enough shutter speed to capture the action of this falcon. Everything is relative, of course but at f/8 of the 400-800mm lens would bring the ISO to at least 12800.
