Three Bobcats crossed the trail about 30 minutes after I came down the trail to the side of the lake. They all seemed a bit cautious and curious. I was happy since Bobcat sightings are rare. I had been shooting birds so these are taken hand-held.

Geoff, you should submit that picture to a stock agency or Audubon since this bird is the new spotted owl & is having a profound impact on the logging industry. That shot is better by far than the usual shots from a boat that are in circulation. Cheers Mike

After reading your comment I had in the back of my head that this probably wasn't a Murrelet (beak too long and the bird was too big). I double checked my guide and this is a juvenile Pigeon Guillemot.
We do get Marbled Murrelets around here and I have a few photos of them in the past but probably nothing all that great.
