Great shots. Were these Boundary Bay or Brunswick Pt.? Many owls around? How about Harriers? I'm starved for subjects and may need to jump on the ferry for a day shooting raptors across the straight.

it was at the end of 72 x the dyke
I only saw one Harrier, but there were THREE Short Eared Owls! And they were quite active too. I missed the opportunity when one of the owls had caught a mouse... and the Harrier went after him for it. I shot the pictures but it was through branches and my camera focused on the branches instead

Is the last one an Anna's hummingbird? It looks like the pics I have been searching. I have an immature male in my yard in Texas, way off course to be here. Hoping this cold weather doesn't move it along.
