Geoff, Douglas, great stuff!
Douglas I bet when I get to the dam it would be the grey'est of grey days!
Thank you Robert. One thing I learned from yesterday's shooting at Conowingo is how valuable the 60MP of the A7RIV is, yes, the AF is not at the A9 level (I have never shot one), but in the situation at Conowingo yesterday, most of the time 600mm +1.4 TC is still far from enough, 60MP gives me a lot of room to crop.
For some reason I couldn't set the SS at 1/2500, it jumped from 1/2000 to 1/3000, nothing in between.
It wasn't too cold yesterday but very windy. I was there for only 3.5 hours in the morning. When you come up to Conowingo, shoot me an email. I may join you if timing works out.

Trying out the A9+200-600+2.0x combo in the back yard for the first time … boy, the AF and IQ definitely take a hit with the 2.0x … and I'm finding I have obviously been spoiled by the added reach of the A7 bodies.
