Thank you.Results are even better when there is more dispersed light,no mist,no air flickering and no increased level of UV radiation.I shoot handheld with no filters.

I am popping back in to these board after having disappeared for a month - just been very busy with an upcoming office move, and busy tax season, so I didn't spend much time online. Just starting to get caught back up, starting with some shots where I last left off.
A variety of some of the wetlands wildlife around my local wetlands from March 25 and April 1: Taken with the A6600 and FE 200-600mm combo

I first purchased this lens when it was first released, a few years ago. I later had a procedure done on my shoulder, and with an expected healing time of over a year (I'm 76), I sold the lens, since I couldn't use it. The IQ was good and it always served me well. A couple weeks ago, I ordered a new one. My preliminary testing showed that it is exceptionally sharp at 600mm... notably more so than my first one.
The image, below, was taken in Crop Mode on the A1 and then cropped well more than 50% for an equivalent of over 1800mm. It is not an award-winning shot, but the lens performance really impressed me. Of course, I am preaching to the choir, here.
