I tried capturing some photos of our resident hummingbirds today as a few flakes of snow were falling. This was the only (marginally) sharp image out of a sequence of 28 frames. so I'm looking forward to getting an A7R V or going back to an A1.

I finally caught this little guy landing a more photogenic location. ISO 6400 seems to be pushing the limit as far as resolving fine details with the A7R IVa.

Thank you shac, terrific images.
The Dusky Fox Sparrow I had not seen before.
Cheers, K-H.
K-H - from what I understand - like many small birds in the Pacific Northwest - dark plumage is common. Even though this app;lies also to Song Sparrows, separating them from Fox Sparrows is not too difficult
Cheers
