A few on the way to work using the 200-600 with 1.4x at the small lake near my house, fairly dark morning hours (iso 12800) plus some cropping, noise cleaned up with topaz Photo AI-

Backyard Mule deer portrait. With all the forest management (controlled burns), our local population of deer in town has exploded. Along with the deer, their predators have followed, resulting in four Cougars (animal variety) being shot in town just this year.
edit: just noticed the weird rainbow effects in the background, they aren't in the original large jpeg, just in the down sampled version for FM. What is the name for this effect?

Just testing the A7RV with this nice lens. I am surprised with my first contact with this combo. The pictures are SOOC jpeg files.

Posterisation - cause by converting to JPG which only supports 8 bit colour so it is unable to handle very fine color gradient changes. Some software will handle this better than other software when downsampling.
I usually downsample in TIFF and then convert to JPG as the last step. Even then you may see posterisation.
I think you may have to add noise to make it less visible - but I am no expert.
If in doubt use PNG or TIFF formats which support 16 bit colour.

Nice - I must say I find doves (or pigeons) a real test - that grey seems to be prefect at obscuring feather detail unless the light, focus is perfect and there is zero motion blur. That shot is not taken in quite what I would call perfect light but the detail looks to be quite promising.
How will the combo hold up with BIF at around 1/2500s or 1/3200s I wonder?
