Using the Sony A1 and 200-600. Just came from Nikon D500/D780 + 500mm PF. I always shoot from a monopod.
My wife uses the Nikon setup now and she has NO experience and shoots handheld and gets more keepers than I do?!? I can't figure it out. I've shot in all the OSS modes and also turned it off for a week with no real difference. So far it seems that it's just way more susceptible to any camera movement, despite any OSS mode, but I really can't diagnose it.

I would suggest for you to post your concern in the main forum and not in this image thread. Please include some images and complete exif data. I am sure folks will help you diagnose the problems.

He snapped it right back. but unfortunately in the next picture the wing obscured it and then another tern came into the picture and the autofocus lost it.
