Thank you. Yes, I'm starting to get back into it. I did a lot more bird photography 10+ years ago when I was shooting with Canon gear. I had a couple of the Canon Super Telephoto lenses (400 DO and 500 f/4) and shot mainly HS and College sports and birds. When my daughter graduated college I stopped shooting sports as much (she played lacrosse in HS and College). I decided to lighten my load and move to a mirrorless system. I began getting more into travel and landscape photography. Not having any real super-telephoto type glass to seriously shoot birds anymore. But with Sony bringing out the 200-600 mm G zoom and the new A1, I've decided to get back into shooting some birds again. Maybe as I think about retirement someday soon I'll buy a Sony 600mm f/4 lens (or a 500mm f/4 if they make one) and really get back into it more seriously. We'll see, but I'm having some fun with it now.
