Picked up a 2x TC after seeing some examples here. I really wasn't expecting much but if the conditions are right it's actually decent (obviously need plenty of light). I stopped down 2/3rds just to make to give it the best chance. There was at least a 20mph stead wind so these guys were blowing all over the place on the branches.. so many throw aways today
Crossbills... The most interesting shot was the female getting a drink (first time I've been able to observe that behavior) and how they have tilt their heads.

yeah, the Peregrine Falcon was luck. Brunswick Point has been great but at times crowded... On that day, I couldn't find parking, so I decided to try finding another way of getting there but perhaps on the other end. I found another street that ends at the other side (southwest) where you can park, but you're actually pretty far and would be a 20 minute walk to the marshes area. I saw this Peregrine Falcon from a distance and at first, I just figured it was a Redtail Hawk or Harrier... but as I got closer, I took a picture, zoomed in and saw the yellow around the eyes and knew right away, it was a Peregrine. It was there for a good 30 minutes after I spotted it, but eventually got harassed by a couple of Bald Eagles, and left. THAT said, I talked to a couple of passersbys that were regulars in the area and they told me the Peregrine Falcon is there often. I went back a few days later and didn't see it
