A7RIII with 1.4TC, no PDAF at f/9 , which can be very problematic at least for me. Focus flutters in the viewfinder quite a bit before or if it locks on.
The backgrounds was not "fooled" with or smoothed in these. If the background is pleasing, it renders it quite nicely. A little bit of noise reduction and no sharpening to the background .

Birdie, The A7R4 will have PDAF down to F11, so this is the "solution" (Just kidding)

So Birdie, A7r3 +1.4x isn't that great except for mostly stationary subjects?

According to the information I read on the A6400 it has PDAF tracking up to and including F11, So the 200-600 should work fine with the 1.4x on the A6400.
But if you put that big lens on that small camera you may have trouble finding the small camera.
