I have so many cheap ones included in lens and camera packages. I have had Feisol, Induro, Gitzo and RRS. But I have reduced mine to a Gitzo Series 0 for my extremely light set-up and a TVC-23 for a beefier application. I just got one of those clamp as well for extra small support or places that don't allow a tripod (GorillaPods suck) . I'm thinking of replacing my TVC-23 with a TVC-33S, which can be doubled as a light stand for heavy light set-up. What do you have and their application?

Currently have two. The main one is a Gitzo 1127 mk2 that I got used for a couple hundred bucks, with an RRS ball head and leveling base added on. That's the main one I use for hiking, etc. The other is a cheap Manfrotto Element Small that used to be my primary, but after getting the better tripod got switched over for use with my spotting scope. That way I don't have to deal with the old Leupold compact tripod that's been falling apart for years.

I suppose I could roll with the lighter and more compact Manfrotto for longer hikes where I know I won't be doing panoramas, but habit can be hard to break. Besides, I'd hate to stumble out somewhere with a nice vista and realize I want to do a pano, but be unable to.

I have 4 in total; Gitzo Series-1 through Series-3, depending on the need. Plus, I do have an old Feisol as spare. My most common used tripod is the Gitzo 2-Series tripod; not quite sturdy enough for a 600mm lens on a gimbal head; hence the 3-Series.

I have two. For my 100-400 and for when I need height, I use a Gitzo (3540 I think). It was one of the first with the G-locks. I replaced the cast spider with a Markins TH-30 hub. When I need to travel light I use a Feisol 3442.

Gitzo 1 and Gitzo 4
a Benro 2 I use for macro.
RRS ground level macro tripod.
A little Sirui travel tripod
An old gitzo series 0 that I leave in my office in case of image possibilities
A couple of ancient Benbos (not Benros) from the 1980s that weigh a ton but which I'm a bit sentimental about...

I have 5 tripods, sold off all my older alu and video tripods.

PMG 423 | Main tripod for my food shoots, use it with a cube GP and T/S lens

PMG 424L | For when I need a tall tripod, used for top down shots such as flat lays.

PMG 343L | Main tripod for interior and when I can get away with a smaller setup.

GITZO 5532LS | Studio tripod with a geared center column

SIRUI W-2204 | For wet work... 💦😂 Smallest tripod I own, mainly for dirty environments and situations where I do not want/need to use my other tripods.

Not counting various table top tripods.. 😅

1 Sirui, 1 Vanguard and 1 manfrotto. I also have a Joby gorilla pod and a number of really cheap plastic ones. Yeah. I guess I have too many.

Gorilla pod (never use), RRS mini tripod with the mini clamp head (bc18? awesome), Sirui T-025X (not very stable just small) and Feisol 3442. I should sell the Sirui and Feisol and buy a good travel tripod like the RRS or maybe the Peak Design. Something stable and around 3 lbs that I will actually carry and is worth using. RRS mini tripod is great and my most used tripod.

Gitzo 3 series (1325 and 1348) Everyday use, landscape, for my 4x5, and with my star tracker

Gitzo 1 series (1541T) lightweight travel

Feisol 3401 salt water tripod or extra on a trip.

Sirui 025x, ultralight travel with crop sensor camera or work travel.

Basically a 0, 1, 2, 3 series setup. I have considered getting a 5 series model.

This will solve your problem, RRS BPC-16. This stays on my Gitzo Series 0 most of the time. The smallest head with panning for sure.

The RRS BPC-16 is a great micro ball-head. Works great with RRS Pocket Pod. (Perfect for travel)

For landscapes, I use the Gitzo GT 1544T (center column removed) with the RRS BH-40 though. (Always bring a heavy duty RRS tripod for windy conditions!)

I have 3 full sized tripods and 2 table top.

My full sized are the RRS TVC-24L CF with the RRS Series 2 leveling base with QR clamp used most often with my Markins Q20i which I will also use with the Markins BV-22. I can also mount the RRS Full Gimbal head with the Cradle Clamp that can be used and replace the head using the RRS 50 dovetail. For lighter weight I can also load a Leofoto LH-30 with rotating clamp and RRS 40 dovetail to swap the head

I also have older Gitzo tripods:

G1257LVL CF with built in leveling base and short column upon which I have a Kirk 60mm QR clamp which can be used with either the Markins Q20i or the Leofoto LH-30 wih the RRS dovetails for rapid switching of heads.

GT1531 CFused generally with a Leofoto LH-30 with rotating clamp.

I also have Markins Q10i with a Kirk 60mm QR clamp and a Markins Q3 tripod heads which can be used with the Gitzo tripods.

My table top tripods are:

Leofoto LS-223C CF with Leofoto LH25 head

Leofoto MT-02 tripod with Leofoto MTB-19 head.

Too many right now but I am trying to sell a few. I currently own
a) Gitzo GT1542T with Markings Q3T ball head (for sale)
b) Gitzo GT2531 Mountaineer with Marking Q10
c) Gitzo GT3541XLS with leveling head and Markings Q20 or Benro S7 Video Fluid Head
d) RRS TV33 with leveling head and either BH55 ball head or Wimberley WH-200 II gimbal head
e) New Gitzo 100-Year Anniversary Edition Traveler and ball head. (Great deal from B&H in year 101 - a classic)

Also own a few monopods with the iFootage Cobra-2 C-180 my latest. Bought the small Komoto fluid head for it for view and may use with my new 200-600mm G coming soon.

Admit I have zero desire for the new Peak Design travel tripod. Strange head and too many levers on the legs for me.

Technically 4, but one is my old aluminum tripod that I haven't used in probably 10 years, and one is a small gorillapod that I just use with my XF10 when traveling super light.

The two I mainly use are my primary pod, which is an Induro CX213 (carbon fiber) with RRS BH40, and a small travel tripod that I bring when I have to fly or travel lighter, which is a MeFoto Road trip with Fotoclam head.

Edit: Since this post, I have replaced my two main tripods. My travel tripod is now a Leofoto LS-284C with the Leofoto LH-30 ball head. I enjoyed this tripod so much I replaced my Induro with the Leofoto LS-323 and moved my BH-40 over to it. Love the lighter weight, stiffer legs and just all around better performance of the Leofotos. Really surprised how good they are.

Let's see......2.1. How? Well, there are two Gitzos, medium and large. Then there is an itty-bitty RRS ground level baby tripod for shooting upward under flowers. That's the .1 size.

Manfrotto BeFree CF with the mini fluid video head and arcaswiss attached to that. Pretty much works for everything, compact and light except I would never use in any sort of wind.
