The RRS BPC-16 is a great micro ball-head. Works great with RRS Pocket Pod. (Perfect for travel)
For landscapes, I use the Gitzo GT 1544T (center column removed) with the RRS BH-40 though. (Always bring a heavy duty RRS tripod for windy conditions!)
That's for sure! Though I used the BPC-16 on my GItzo Series 0 with the Sigma 105 in breezy NM days before . I do have a P0 Hybrid when I need more stability.

I have so many cheap ones included in lens and camera packages. I have had Feisol, Induro, Gitzo and RRS. But I have reduced mine to a Gitzo Series 0 for my extremely light set-up and a TVC-23 for a beefier application. I just got one of those clamp as well for extra small support or places that don't allow a tripod (GorillaPods suck) . I'm thinking of replacing my TVC-23 with a TVC-33S, which can be doubled as a light stand for heavy light set-up. What do you have and their application?
I only have about eight left including some functional older ones.
The three main legs are the GT-3530LS with RRS 75mm leveling base, TVC-23 with dedicated RRS leveling base, and GT-2531 with Markins MH-200 hub that replaces the spider and column. The GT-3530LS is my primary tripod unless weight is critical. The TVC-23 is rather short, but fine for most ground wildlife that I tend to either shoot low or when height doesn't matter at longer distances. The modified GT-2531 is the lightest weight at <3 lbs., though also rather short.
RRS TVC-34 is my main workhorse, which replaced the ...
Gitzo 1227 mark 2 Mountaineer, modified with a Markins spider
RRS tabletop tripod
Benro 75mm high-hat
Sirui P-326 monopod
A cheap Slik aluminum tripod which is barely tall and steady enough to hold a LensAlign target
Avalon Instruments T-Pod 110 for the telescope
I use three Leofoto tripods:
LS-324C +LH 40 head - main,
LS-224C + LH-30/LH-25 - city travel,
MT-03 + LH-30/LH-25 - table top/pocket.
AM-2L, AM-2 arms to add monitor, phone, light, etc. to tripods
if I don't want to use a camera cage for extensions.
First two tripods are 10x carbon fiber.
1. RRS TVC-33S Versa Mk2 with Induro MGC23S geared center column, Arca Swiss C1 geared head. TFC version with Arca Swiss d4 geared head or Acratech GP ballhead.
2. Berlebach Report 302 with Arca Swiss d4 geared head or Tiltall BH-30 ballhead.
3. RRS TFC-14 Mk2 traveler with Arca Swiss L60 geared head. TQC version with Acratech GP-s ballhead.
4. Leofoto LS-365C traveler with Arca Swiss d4 geared head or Acratech GP ballhead.
5. Manfrotto/Bogen 209 tabletop with Sunwayfoto ET-02 center column and RRS BPC-16 Microball head.
A Gitzo 3541XLS for "out of the car" use, used mostly with a DSLR+600mm/4 and Wimberly II which I'm considering replacing with a Manfrotto 500AH fluid head. (Been watching some Hudson Henry videos and like what I see).
For hiking/general use I have a Gitzo GT2545T Traveler for my mirrorless system which is about to be replaced with something more substantial...possibly an RRS TVC-24L.
I'm not good with model numbers. I've got a little Benro that does yoga, for macro work. A medium carbon fiber Benro for most general use. A large Benro with a custom gimbal for my Sigmonster. And a MeFoto that I got super cheap on eBay because the head was damaged. MeFoto actually warrantied it. So I'm okay with the $40 I spent on it. Between the three Benro tripods, I have three Acratech heads.
Backstory: I used only Manfrotto/Bogen for about 20 years. When Peak Design first came out with their CapturePro, they hooked me up with one for review. I had to get an Arca compatible head, and ended up with a used Acratech. I liked it so much, I wrote them. They sent me two other heads to review. I bought the carbon fiber Benro on a whim, as it was less than half the price of my CF Manfrotto, but with better specs. I liked it so much, I wrote them, and they hooked me up with a discount on my video tripod and head. But I bought the other two (three in total). I wish my photography was as good as my writing. 🙄
Bogen & Slik, both 7.5 lbs, go to ground level well. I need to get an adapter or 1/4" head for the old Slik, got broken in car accident. It's some sort of grand Master model I got back in the 90's.
Also have a couple of lightweight cheapies from garage sales that I pack in checked baggage if needed and tend to carry on a trip. A lit better than you'd think.
Might be something else that I forgot or never use. I think some miniature one.
Surprised on how many estimators of Leofoto I find here... I don't have one but a friend of mine with a bunch of gitzos high end tripods has found peace for backup with Leofoto, which I didn't know till last December...
I had a Manfrotto 055Xprob, with 498rc2 head. Never found peace with that. Sold.
Now I have Benro TMA28C carbon fiber with Sunwayfoto XB52 ball head (not too happy with that, recently it's pan knob unglued from its thread, so I found that it's not so solid from construction standpoint), and a Sirui T-024X carbon fiber travel tripod which I had kept from Fuji times after Nikon full frame experience.
I have a tabletop Novoflex tripod with movable legs, little use but very practical and solid, I won't separate from this.
I think I will soon change my main ball head with an Arca Swiss Z1+. But I will precede it with a TC for my tele
I’ve now 3 carbon Sirui tripods, call them small, medium and large.
The larger one is the W2204 with k30 BH , around 2kg and I use it around my place or for short car trips. I have removed the centre column to have maximum stability as it goes quite high already. The medium is a T2204x with k20 BH around 1.6kg and it comes for my overseas travels and holidays as it fits well in the checked luggage. The smallest is a T025x around 1kg or less and comes when I am on business trip and must go very light / incospicuous with gear.
Like all 3 and feel free to ask questions.
I think I have around ten tripods, various sizes and vintages, but I mainly use a large Gitzo G-1504 Tele Studex Giant and a couple of Manfrotto 055's. I have a lot of custom made stuff that I used to shoot cars, not sure how much they qualify as 'tripods' in the traditional sense.
