I decided to drag the tripod out this weekend. After lugging it around for a couple miles through the woods, I was feeling my age and longing for my 500PF! Lol.
We heard a ton of birds, but never got a clear shot mo much more than some woodpeckers.

The road to Glenorchy winds along Lake Wakatipu between Queenstown and Glenorchy on New Zealand's south island. Drivers are treated with this distracting view, which can be quite dangerous as the road is narrow and winding for the entire trip... pano shot with the Z6 and 24-70f4 S kit zoom.

Here's a "grab shot" of my wife walking ahead of me on the beach during our evening walk.... captured with the Z6 and kit zoom 24-70 f4S
Had my 1 year wedding anniversary yesterday - went with the wife to Restaurant Story in London Bridge for lunch. These were taken with a Nikon Z6 , 35mm 1.8s and 50mm 1.8s.
I'd post more photos but don't want to spam - can check it out here if interested :

These are the last of this set I'll post, but the Z6 w/ V3 firmware nailed all but about 5 of 200+ shots in this series. I believe those may have been the result of wind blowing (me or) the tree around. Lol.
Z6 + 500PF
nice shots
did you use AF-C, and auto area or else what focus mode settings?
why i like the shot above:
it is a simple well done image without wiping out the background by turning it into mush. enough of a background there to give it presence but still isolate the actual the central character
