I never thought it would happen to me but I'm finding a new and unexplored passion with BOB (birds on branches) shooting. I enjoy the setup and evolution of finding the sweet spot between iso/noise/shutter speed with the respective light offered, the subject hunt, the machine gun shutter firing and the ultra masculine, phallic lenses.. I've also started fantasising about a 500 PF.
I know this is the wrong thread for a Z7 problem, but I'm assuming I can get a quick resolution here.
Traded my D850 for Z7. However, I can't upload any pics from the Z7 to Lightroom? Import dialogue box recognizes the Z7, but indicates that there are no photos? I'm sure it's my fault, driving me crazy. BTW, Z7 and LR are all updated.
I really like so many images in this thread. I wish this website would resize them a bit though, other than on my PC, images on my tablet are massive and pretty much unviewable.
Here's a few taken today with the lowly 50 1.8g, all at f/1.8.
My model (Baxter) tried his best to be patient with the photographer, but its not easy when your only two.
Also, first time I've played with "auto-area" mode AF and was quite surprised to see the eye-AF lock on to my dog's eye multiple times - I thought only Sony had animal-eye AF
Honestly, besides the hassle of attaching the adapter I see no reason to spend another $400 to upgrade on the Z mount.....
