I'm a 35mm guy through and through. 40 or 28 will do in a pinch, but 35 is preferred. I'm so in love with this particular lens I'm debating picking up the 50 since it's discontinued...I think it would have made a better "trail" lens than the 35, where the 35 excelled in town.
I have to think the ZF is playing a role to a degree as well, as its sensor renders color and contrast quite differently than the Z8/Z9.
