Not a good photograph, as it's just random framing in my back yard, but I wanted to do a test shot for settings for star trails. This is an hour of exposure (120x30 second images). Didn't realize at the time that having Interval Priority on is what pulled me out of manual mode and the ability for longer exposures at lower ISO, but live and learn.
Apparently a lot of planes fly into Columbus in an hour.

I'd be happy with any of them but I prefer the landscape star trail over the square format.
Tricky to decide on the color versus b&w tree but I'd probably go for the color one in this instance.

Jordan, I like the color version better. As for formatting, I see what you're trying to accomplish with the square, but I personally like the landscape format.

I read that the 14-30 works well in IR - with no major hotspots - so it is good to see real images from you.

I am still quite new to IR, so I can't say how well / poor 14-30 performs in comparison to other lens with IR filters. Having said that, I have not noticed offending hot spots so far. Vignette seems to get amplified with filter m which is not a problem for me.

As always, beautiful shot. The straight line adds to the image nicely for composition, and also makes me think about the juxtaposition of nature vs tech.
