Three handheld, 0.6s, exposures aligned in PS and merged together to help reduce the noise at ISO 3200. No need to lug around a tripod at night when technology and a bit of post processing allows for images that satisfy my needs.
I am starting a One Camera, One Lens, One Year (OCOLOY) project, today apparently. This was my sloooow start to the project. Just messing around with a pair of my Allen Edmonds shoes. Fantastic shoes BTW. Basically, I needed to force myself to take a photo of something inside today. I'm pretty uninspired at the moment. So, I present my shoe. Feel free to ignore.

40mm f/2. The shoe image was cropped. It’s the only non zoom normal lens I currently own. As I understand it a normal lens is preferred for this experiment.

I am to the point where no parts are available, and I'm beginning to squeak.
The bikes looked marvelous and new, you had to look close to see any evidence of use.
Nikon forced me to use my obsolete DSLR for a spell but I'm pleased to say their SA was fast and without incident.
These gentlemen made a fine test subject for my freshly serviced camera.
