I asked why this lake is called pond. Their guess is that early settlers did not know the word 'lake'. Apparently it is technically a gorge, but, more friendly term would be a fresh water fjord.

I'm using this ZF.2 50mm 1.4 Planar on my Nikon F3P, but decided to quickly see how it would work on my Z7 as I never tried it before on digital. So my long suffering pup Pepe was drawn into service. You can just see the excitement on his face...

It's honestly the same size as the 50 1.2 when you put the adapter on it, so it's a weight that's not unfamiliar to me. I wanted something that's a step up from my 35 1.8 and it's honestly delivering in spades. DeltaSigma wrote:
