Fantastic Markus. Is that E mount 12mm?
Thanks, Mathieu! No, it's the second M-version (which takes filters). Works great on the Z7, only the vignetting (even at f11) is very strong. Luckily the Z7 has enough DR to be able to compensate it.
to all sharing your Z images - THANK YOU. please continue .
I am much inspired by ALL shared.
As a new Z user with limited time to shoot, I am now focusing on honing my vision so the little time I have shooting may reap better fruit.
All of your shared photos and insights are much appreciated. thanks again.
I drove North toward the Canadian border after work on last Friday. We arrived by 11 pm, unhitched our teardrop camper and slept hard and short to prep for a gorgeous Lake Superior sunrise. Sadly, a front stalled on the edge of the lake and we were subject to dense fog for nearly 36 hours... The inability to see further than 30 feet really restricted the type of photography I could do... anyway, here is a rather graphic interpretation of a lesser know visited subject on the lake.
All, keep posting the images from the Z series. My old D700 is still going strong, but I'm really looking forward to the ability to pick up a Z, 24-70/4 and FTZ once they fall to the $1000 mark or so used. The images with the primes look fantastic, but even the f/4 zooms are capable of great IQ in talented hands.

Are you saying body and the 24-70/4 lens for $1000? I think that'll be quite some time, even the D700 still goes for 400-500, and the kit lens won't have any competition for some time which will keep it above $400 on its own...
Won't claim these are the best images, but pretty impressed with the SOOC B&W JPEG. The Picture Control settings do a good job of a nice high contrast B&W, with metal that pops.
