This wasn't even intentional, but it's funny.

Haha. We're already as close to the border as it gets and I see zero incentives to living in the US. Today is the coldest day in 50 yrs here (-15C / 5F) but supposed to get warmer by the end of the week.

Quick trip downtown today to check out the 'famous' barge that got stranded on the seawall during the November storm in Vancouver. It's still lodged in there with people taking photos of 'Barge Chilling Beach' sign installed by Vancouver Park Board (inside joke for 'Dude Chilling Park' that is also in Vancouver).

Z7II + 24-70 & 70-200 TC.14.

It's still -10C today, so there's a lot of atmospheric shimmer just above the water & the Canadian geese look cold. North Shore mountains looked pretty amazing though.

Ice on the Fraser River in Lower Mainland, BC? That doesn't happen very often. On days like this I'm sure glad I work indoors.

Interesting. I didn't even know he was called Atom Boy in Japan. Astro Boy is part of my childhood as well, and I loved that show.

Interesting. I can see how that was the translation. Original Japanese comic book written by Osamu Tezuka was called 'Tetsu wan ATOMU'. Tetsu= iron. wan = arm ATOMU. Atomu is a robot, so, it made sense.

Beautiful shot. It is mind boggling to see 'veil' and how the feature gets revealed in the sculpted rock form. It does look like it is a veil. I also did not know Corradini. Thank you for the education.
