I am so glad this lens is getting into the hands of more people.
I am very happy with this lens. It balances very well, and AF is pretty accurate with Z6. Rendering is superb. The only thing is that I no longer live or commute into NYC, so I can't do Street shots with this lens, so I do Trail shots
It took a while, but now it seems a lot of places have this lens in stock.
Yeah I think whatever update Nikon did stealth fixed the Eye AF on this lens. It's a lot more accurate now. The lens is great, my favorite 50mm, which isn't saying much because I'm usually not a fan of the focal length. Whatever, the lens makes me want to shoot it so it's fine. akul wrote:

I came to the Leica forum to see if Fred really had switched to Leica
And noticed the Nikon z images thread showing up here - didn't realize that it was showing in here.

This is how it started, by Adaptedlenses ( from page 1):
" All the individual gear threads are great for research, but at the end of the day it's about the image, not the gear. So how about a general thread for images from Z cameras. Cross posting to the Alt Boards as well, since the Z's are a great platform for adapted lenses as well. Here's a random hodge podge from my first few weeks with the Z6."
Leica forum, as far as I recall, used to be called just "Alt forum". I don't know why it got mixed up. May be, Fred did not think there was enough traffic for Leica only forum.
Beautiful shot and great PP work. How do you like Voigtlander 15mm ? Is it the E version of M version ? In B&H's user review, someone mentioned the corner was not sharp. Your shot does not give me such an impression.
You can embed images from any site really
Just need the actual image url usually ending in .jpg
Flickr, Smugmug, or really any site
Or you can use FM itself if you have paid for membership with Upload

What website do you guys use to post photos here? Or what is your process? My photos always end up so small.

Acadia National Park... something a little different from this iconic park.
Beautiful shot. Totally agree. This shot adds a new perspective to this beautiful park. I can't even tell from which area of the park this shot is from. I hope to go back next year.

Love the moon.

Thank you. I use the Leica one (version III) with a Fotasy adapter, nice and sharp, some vignetting (the profile in LR works great) but no smearing on the edge. You have to stop down to f/11 to get sharp corners for critical works. I use it for my real estate shooting to replace the way-too-big-and-heavy 14-24G. I did almost 700 listings with that lens so far so good.
