Still trying to get the hang of the Z. Operation, ergos and menus are familiar enough, yet different enough from the D bodies I'm used to to be quite disconcerting. All in all, though, I think it's going to be a great move for me. I'll benefit from the system's strengths, while its weaknesses are not in areas that affect me.
The native lenses I bought have finally all turned up, but this was shot a couple of days back, so still with the 24-70G on an FTZ.

You will eventually love it. I didn't like it when I first start shooting with it
It's ok now but I still think the rgonomics should be better. They should bring the d850 left top wheel and the rubberized recessed selection wheel from the d850. I think that's more what the Z d6 equivalent will look like but the price of this body will be quite expensive. ...Show more →
Just had a lot of fun with Z7+FTZ+ 20/1.8G doing a little sunset sea kayaking with some friends with SUP boards.
Sunset was a bit disappointing because of the rainstorm on the horizon but the little thunder display was fun but I was not really in a place where I can take pictures easily

The Three Amigo's. Three Scaly-breasted Lorikeets. moments earlier, they were squabbling and having a right old barney. They stopped momentarily for the camera.
Thanks Lance! This is the first time in the last fourteen years that my wife and I have been home in Canada for the fall leaf change and I'm really enjoying it.... returning to NZ in about three weeks (and I won't miss the recent freezing weather). Keep safe my friend!
Two next photos are her usual, full speed, running photos...but the clear backgrounds and better light make a difference here. Second photo sadly has some blown highlights.

Were you using animal eye tracking? I have used it on my Z7 for a tiger walking towards me using my 70-200 f2.8 + 1.4x TC and it locked on solidly without misstep.
