Few shots from Southport last night. My mind wasn't working right when I decided to use the ZF's. Converting through NX-D is not much fun... Did the best I could but I'm saving the RAWs for a hopeful Adobe fix.
I took my new 24-70 2.8s + Z7 out to Bourton-on-the-Water, Cotswold to see what it was like. Performed very well! Now to think about whether I need the trio of 1.8s primes...
Local sunflowers have been harvested now that we're into September. Here's one last reminder of these colourful flowers to hold us over until next year... captured with the Z6 and Nikon 200-500VR
The native 70-200 does not disappoint. While it's not a huge 'upgrade' from 2.8E I'm happy with the performance, handling & not having to use the adapter.

Nice set!
Do you notice any AF speed gain vs. the adapted 2.8E?

To me it feels slightly more snappy. It's hard to quantify though - with the adapted lenses you'd get a lot of motor clicking and whirring noises which made it seem like af is 'working hard'. Now it's almost silent.
I'm planning to photograph my running dog more as soon as the blanket of forest fire smoke clears - it is not recommended to spend much time outside at the moment.
