Why thanks so much for the kind words.
I like Cobalt profiles a lot but this one came from the A7R iii and i don't have a profile for it so i used Capture one and tweaked it there before moving to photoshop.

You’ve made it difficult here as both treatments are very nice but your colors are hard to compete with so it would be color for me!
I’m still intrigued by the cobalt treatments you mentioned earlier...was that used here? Wondering if it is worth trying out.

Actually this was my last session with the A7 Riii
not my current R iv. I was just editing some older sessions while I get shooting soon (waiting for my vaccine).
Thanks a lot! AGeoJO wrote:
Luis, I like the color version better and I like the skin tone, too. Was the file from the A7r IV?

Just doing some experimenting with the Godox LC500R bi-color RGB tube light. It's pretty fun! You do give up some output in exchange for the RGB capability (the non-RGB LC500 version is a stop brighter on the daylight setting), but I have flashes when I need more juice and I love the flexibility of being able to change up the color temperature from 2800-8500K or flip it over for RGB. Here's my ugly mug in a doorway with the LC500R in the hallway behind me, a window curtain partially drawn in front of me, and white balance set to incandescent.

Nice job! I am going to have to add one of those to my tools
Thanks man! I am pondering the Godox SZ150R RGB monolight as well now. Unfortunately it cannot be battery powered and again there is a significant tradeoff between the variety of colors it can produce and it's maximum output, but it is quite a bit brighter than the LC500R, has a bowens mount, and it also has a green/magenta tint control in bi-color mode in addition to Kelvin. At $560, I don't know if it is necessarily a no brainer purchase, but it looks extremely cool and handy for creative lighting!

Did a shoot after so many months. Didn't feel like taking my Sigma 105mm f1.4 as I also wanted to test my 85L on GFX. It is pain on the Sony that camera won't show you the ambient when using strobes. I know you can turn off/on the trigger but that is pain in the butx. I see that A1 fixes it but then it is $6500 too.
