Wow that's so awesome Joshua! So beautiful and natural! Love the skintones.
So are you already more or less fine in the US? Or is it an old pic? I am now back in HK staying in a hotel for my compulsory quarantine...

Thank you very much, Juanma! It is from a session we did last Sunday, exactly a week ago. I know the model really well and we felt comfortable doing it as long as we did it out in the open. Yet, I was wearing a face covering all the time although while a distance, I lowered mine a little since I really didn’t feel like breathing my own breath .
I used the Sigma 105mm quite a bit, even for full-length portraits and the distance between us was 20 feet or so, like this one here...

That’s a beautiful portrait. I do wonder if we’ll see a spike in these telephoto, full-body portraits being shared in the coming months. It’ll become all the rage and 135 will replace 85 as the “portrait length.”

Thank you very much, Vinny! I would say we may see a trend towards using longer FL for portraits, at least at outdoor settings, where longish lenses are easier to manage. Frankly, I don’t feel 100% comfortable doing any indoor portrait sessions at this point. Until vaccines against the Covid-19 are available, I am afraid it will remain like this for a while longer...

And these in the (not old) Summer Palace, the day before I left the city . This day I brought my landscape kit, so Tamron 17-35, Canon 70-200 and Sony 50. Most of the portrait were taken with the tele lens.

Wow, phenomenal, how athletic the girl is, and how well you accentuated that, bravo. I’m dreaming since long of such a photo session.
Thank you so much!
Yes she was fantastic and to keep such a beautiful look while doing that over and over.
