Yeah sorry can I call BS on that ? As with the old Pentax x1.7 AFA you may need to make a minor MF adjustment until you get ball park with longer FL or heavier lenses ..... after that it nails focus just fine (works beautifully with my all metal Nikon 105/2.5 AiS and 435g). Just don't expect to be able to use it from 1m to infinity without giving it a helping hand.

a) just the item itself
Package b) if it's a lens then cleaning materials & filters perhaps
Package c) and so on .... sometimes with 9 or 10 items.
They always throw in freebies too ! I've had a table top tripod with one item I bought and a clip on powerful little light etc. etc. all thrown in as nice little surprises.

Sunstars look really really bad. Not only the number of blades is important but also the exact spacing.
Sony has figured that out since the GM lenses. Leica and Cosina (Zeiss/Voigtlander) can do it too.
Everyone else: only very rarely.
The optical design is similar to Loxia 21mm 2.8 or Voigtlander VM 35mm 1.7 though, just one aspheric as rear element, which is usually good news for bokeh (slight or no onion rings).
It is also a rather complex design with two (if I remember correctly) ED elements and one aspherical one, so I don't think it will be really low contrast (veiling flare may spoil the party though).
I hope it will pair nicely with the Mitakon 50mm 0.95, we will see about that.

Lens only
Lens + FE-adapter
Lens + hood
Lens + FE-adapter + Lens hood
Yea I have some 52mm screw in hoods or some filter rings to use. I have 3 big containers of metal screw in hoods, filters , step up , step down. Hell I could open a store

Color classification. That’s not saying it’s optimized for Sony or Leica. Are they talking color of the mount or something. I get the packages now but I certainly don’t understand the color classification.

What do the FAQ say
"Color classification" is probably not the correct translation to English.
It looks like they just started selling the FE Plus version optimized for the Sony sensor stack. That could be the reason it's not widely available yet. I'm not 100% certain of anything as this company is not big on communication.
Hopefully Bastian gets a well-centered copy of the FE Plus so we can have a better idea of how it performs.

Not sure where you posted that info as it’s not on this thread . Also you state it’s optimized for Sony . Is that your guess or does it actually say that on their site.
Not trying to give you a hard time but I just spent 500 bucks and I feel like I got screwed. I can still cancel my order that’s what I’m trying to figure out.

First question: FE plus and Leica version, what is the difference?
First anwer: They both have M-mount, you still need an adapter to use the FE version.
Second question: So what is the difference between those two then?
Second answer: Sony and Leica sensors are different, if the lens is not optimized for the sensor of your camera
image quality will be degraded, especially in the corners.
