Tests with 2x teleconverter on A9.
Not a particularly bright day and in the shadows, so, overall it worked fine.
All, except the third one, were ISO 6400 and all, except the first one were pushed 1 stop in POST.
All 800 mm.
Not just hummingbirds like the Bee Balm plant.

I was visiting the Raleigh area last week and had a couple of hours to head over to Jordan Lake. The area is a great place for spotting lots of large birds including eagles (16 nests in the area), osprey, herons, and vultures (tons of them). I wanted to try my luck with a newly acquired Canon 600mm mkII on Sony bodies but ended up sticking with the 100-400 GM and the 1.4TC... I need to work on my optimal settings and practice practice practice... All handheld...
