Let�s just say that other than meeting up with Eric, it was a totally forgettable outing. Eric got some shots of a peregrine feasting on a songbird, a cute little fawn, and a perched baldie and belted kingfisher. I was doing my best to be a good safari guide and driver

. Or did you not let him touch the lens and he shot with some shoddy Nikon gear

Finally got out in the field with the 400 GM... very happy with the 2.0TC IQ on this! Shot some handheld and some on a Wimberley full gimbal on big Gitzo legs. From West Galveston Bay, Galveston TX this Saturday:

They are made to order...order one and Sony will make you one...although I believe big stores like B&H ordered some without customer orders
