I bought an ES-2 and was hoping to start doing my slides/negatives (a winter project) but sold my D850 waiting for the delivery of my Z7 later today. I saw that they did leave that out of the Z7. The real only difference I can see is that I will have to reverse the negatives to positives manually in Photoshop otherwise my 60mm macro on the Z7 should shoot the same way (I hope).
Conversion in photoshop may well give better results from what I have read but it is really nice to see the reversed negative in the camera and very convenient. There is nothing in the manual that I can see but the fact that Nikon did not give a definite "no" on the phone gives me a glimmer of hope that a firmware update could provide this feature at some point (wishful thinking given Nikon's track record I know)

My dealer just called me, he’s going to overnight my kit for tomorrow. They do not have adapters or primes.
To clarify, I did not use Adorama or BNH for this deal, for one, because they are closed this week.
I used procam
More importantly my dealer told me that he got two kits today. Both are for NPS deals. I imagine NPS will make up somewhere between 90-100% of the launch shipments.
I never use amazon because I want to support the camera stores. Also because I have to pay tax when it’s from Amazon 😂

At least I can put the FTZ on the backs of my F mount lenses for two months and dream
I heard from my local dealer that there was some kind of shipping FUBAR and neither they nor many other dealers got any cameras - just adapters. He is not sure if this a regional or national problem.
Interestingly a certain large store in NYC that is currently closed just charged my Amex - and for rather more than just an FTZ.
update:
Just checked my account. Order is "processing" Status: in stock, sent to warehouse.

Just a FYI: for those of you who are stuck in pre-order limbo, Competitive Camera in Dallas still has the Z7 kit in stock. I was able to place an order and have it shipped overnight for delivery tomorrow.

To be clear, I don't think there is any error causing my circumstances. The release date for the 50mm f/1.8S and Z6 are just one and two months later than the initial release (Z7 + FTZ + 35 + 24-70).

Yup, I am aware that the Z6 is not due until November and the 50 sometime in October. Just seems odd to ship the FTZ to you all by itself if it is part of a "kit" deal. My own order was for a Z7 + FTZ + 50 + 24-70 and the local dealer told me that all he has received so far today is a shipment of FTZ's.
